Benefits and Uses of Mangosteen Juice:

Although the fruit, rind, and bark of the Mangosteen fruit contain some medicinally active constituents, no reliable test results are available to support any benefits from consuming the entire fruit.

No supporting evidence exists to validate benefits of consuming powdered rind or bark extracts at the time of this writing.

The rind of the mangosteen fruit contains components with the ability to reduce secretions in the mucosal tissues.

This makes it effective in the treatment of diarrhea. In addition, the xanathones in Mangosteen provide it with antioxidant and other beneficial effects.

Although the fruit is high in carbohydrates and iron, it is low in vitamins and minerals.

The juice has antioxidants and other nutrients that make it beneficial for boosting the immune system and helping blood circulation.

Recent studies are indicative of a link between mangosteen fruit and the prevention and cessation of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, and other chronic diseases.

In spite of the number of people who have used the fruit and its juices for these and many other conditions, there is no supporting documentation for these claims at the present time.
