Caffeine helps to prevent the narrowing of the air passages, thus helping to prevent asthma attacks. Onions have the same effect, and while raw onions tend to be too strong to consume in any great amount, people suffering from asthma should consider using more onions in their cooking.

Apple Cider vinegar is the age-old reliable home health remedy for insect bites and stings. Simply pour the vinegar over the affected area or mix vinegar with baking soda to obtain a paste that can applied to the affected area.
