Kudzu Extract

Species: Pueraria lobata

Also Known As: kuzu, perurarium lobata

The Kudzu extracts found on the market today are some of the oldest traditional Chinese medicines available.

Kudzu extracts come from the kudzu plant, and are derived from the root and the flower of the plant. Pueraria lobata is the root based herb and Pueraria flos is the flower based herb.

In the pueraria flos use, only the flowers are used. Both products have unique outcomes when used. The herb is commonly nontoxic and, as a vegetable, it is commonly cooked with noodles and sauces.

Home Remedies Using Kudzu Extract:

Benefits of Kudzu Extract:

In ancient Chinese medicine, kudzu extracts were used as a way to treat many ailments. Today, this plant can be effective in the treatment of hangovers.

The plant itself is a creeping plant found throughout the southeastern portion of the United States and is also found throughout Asia. There, it is a commonly consumed vegetable. In traditional Chinese medicine, the kudzu is used to vent pathogens and pathogenic influences.

It is able to reduce the amount of tension in the muscle surrounding the neck that commonly is caused by nervous tension.

In addition to this, it was commonly used as a way to reduce the “heat” in the stomach that lead to unusual thirst and to help reduce toxins that were manifested through rashes and skin inflammations throughout the body. In addition, it was able to help the body to digest foods properly, especially as a treatment of diarrhea.

It can be used to prevent and treat cold sores, to reduce genital herpes outbreaks and to reduce the inflammation of shingles. It can help to reduce high blood pressure and health conditions associated with it, such as headaches.

To use kudzu extracts, use them in teas. In addition to this, it can be combined with other topical treatments to treat skin rashes and hives, especially those conditions that are related to nervous tension.

You can combine it with other treatments for a diarrhea cure. It is being studied for the use in alcohol abuse, and is especially effective in this method when combined with chrysanthemum flowers. Some people do take it in a capsule form, and extracts are rarely used, but are available.

Side Effects of Kudzu Extract:

There are no known side effects to taking kudzu extracts, but some may have an allergic reaction to them.
