IndigestionIndigestion or dyspepsia as it is often termed is a condition of the stomach which is characterized by an unusual feeling of fullness during or after meal and a general discomfort of the stomach which caused due to an improper secretion of digestive juices. Some common factors which can lead to indigestion are overeating, eating too quickly or eating improperly cooked food. A sedentary lifestyle without much exercise is another factor which can lead to frequent bouts of stomach discomfort. Some foods such as onions, beans and seafood can cause excessive bloating in people and lead to severe stomach pains and even a feeling of nausea and excessive tightness in the stomach. Natural Cures for Indigestion:Lemon Juice with Ginger and Honey:Add a spoonful of lemon juice, a spoon of ginger and two spoons of honey to a glass of lukewarm water. This is one of the most effective ways to get rid of indigestion almost instantly. Yoga:Some yogic asanas like sarvangasana, uttanpadasana, shalabhasana and shavasana are very beneficial to cure any stomach related discomfort. Yogi Kriyas like kapalbhati, anulomaviloma are also very effective in treating severe digestive problems.
