Cleanse

What is a Cleanse? Cleansing is the process of cleaning or detoxifying your colon and digestive track. Cleansing can be done in the privacy of your own home.

Colon cleansing will help the body rid itself of mucus and harmful parasites, while also removing poisons and wastes.

The digestive and immune systems will operate more effectively once all the toxic waste materials are removed from the body.

Natural Remedies for a Cleanse:

There are several options for cleansing the colon at home. This includes fasting, cleansing, and detox diets, using herbal colon cleansing products, and also doing home colonics, enemas, oral laxatives, probiotics, psyllium husks, and more.

Detoxification Diet:

A detoxification diet will help you remove waste and harmful toxins from the body and a colon cleanse at home will help you rid the intestines of these toxins, while a complete detoxification can eliminate toxins located throughout the body, and improve liver, kidney and heart function.

There are several effective detoxification diets that include using juice that you have juiced yourself from organic fruit and vegetables. You can also use vegetable broth and simple soups, and make sure you take herbal cleansing supplements and fiber.

With any detox or cleansing program it is important to drink lots of water. This is because the water will help flush the waste and toxins from your body with the increase in fiber and a simple, raw diet. You should drink at lease 8 to 10 glasses of water a day.

Herbal cleansers and laxatives like turkey rhubarb, which is an intestinal cleaner, and cascara sagrada, which is a mild colon cleanser will act as a natural laxative and help to push the toxic waste and toxins from the body. Other herbal supplements include flax seeds, worm seeds, senna, and olive leaf extracts, all of which will help improve the digestive track.

Enemas - Coffee:

Enemas can be used to clean the lower intestines of toxins and waste. The enema can be made up of water, a watery compound made with clay, or even coffee.

How to do a home cleanse enema with coffee:

  1. Prior to doing a coffee enema, take a week or so and reduce your consumption of animal protein, including meat, poultry, eggs and dairy, before the colon cleanse. Also reduce your consumption of fried foods and foods with refined sugar. Cutting back on these foods will make the home cleanse easier to complete.
  2. When you are ready to do the enema, brew about 12 cups of coffee by using filtered or distilled water and allow the coffee to cool.
  3. Clean enema bag before use with filtered water and about two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Once clean, run water through the bag and tubing several times before using.
  4. Now fill the enema bag with a mixture of one part coffee and two parts filtered or distilled water.
  5. At this point it is good to either lie on the floor in the bathroom or sit on the toilet.
  6. Use olive oil or another food-grade oil to moisten the tip of the enema tubing before inserting into the anus. And then slowly empty the coffee mixture from the bag into your intestinal track. Then sit on the toilet and pass the waste.
  7. Repeat the enemas six or seven times. Be sure to clean the enema bag and tubing between each round. Then use a tablespoon of bleach or hydrogen peroxide in the last round and use water to clean the enema bag and tubing before storing for the next use.
