There are some natural healing properties in honey that help to prevent infection and take the sting out of the burn, leaving the person feeling better right away. Vitamins:Certain vitamins work well in taking the sting out of the burn, and more importantly ensuring that the area doesn’t become infected. The vitamins that work as a home remedy for burns and help in the healing process include Vitamins B-complex, Vitamin C, glutamine, copper, and zinc. These should be taken in supplement form to ensure proper levels are ingested, as there is a great loss of these nutrients when the body sustains a burn. Papaya:Eating papaya isn’t just delicious, but this is a fruit that has some wonderful healing powers. In this instance, you don’t eat papaya but rather use it as a topical agent on the site of the burn.
