Bedwetting

Bedwetting can be a very embarrassing and rather difficult health condition to deal with.

Though this is most common in young children, particularly during the potty training years, it can carry on into adolescence if a serious health condition is associated.

Usually individuals who frequently wet the bed have no control of their bladder or are unable to detect the urge to urinate, particularly in their sleep. In some instances there may be some mental aspects associated with bedwetting that may require counseling.

The occasional accident is one thing, but for some kids this can be a common and rather disturbing occurrence. Parents want to seek out help for their kids right away as this problem prevents them from living a normal life or enjoying a sleepover at a friend’s house.

Whatever the cause of the problem, it is helpful to get help quickly to avoid further embarrassment and put a stop to the recurring problem. Many parents will seek medical attention for their children’s problem, but that may not produce the results that they wish.

It can be quite helpful to know that there are some excellent natural cures for bedwetting that will stop the problem for recurring and allow a child to live a healthy and normal life.

Home Remedies for Bedwetting:

Cranberry Juice:

Drinking a glass of cranberry juice about an hour before bedtime can be a very helpful and natural home remedy for bedwetting.

It’s important not to drink the juice any closer to bedtime, but it has natural healing properties that can help to prevent an individual from continuing with this problem.

St. John’s Wort:

St. John’s Wort is one supplement that has a lot of healing powers.

In this instance, the oil of St. John’s Wort can be a very helpful home remedy for bedwetting.

Massaging some of this oil into the child’s thigh about an hour before bedtime can produce some remarkable results when it comes to bladder control and make a more peaceful night for everyone involved.

Herbal Tea:

There are some herbs that are quite helpful in acting as a natural cure for certain conditions, and we see that appear here.

It’s important that these herbs be in the form of a nice herbal tea that the individual may sip before bedtime, but not too close.

This herbal tea should include oak bark, horsetail, and wormwood to get the best results and can prove to be a great home remedy for bedwetting.
