What is the Hawthorn? The Hawthorn is a thorny shrub of the rose family and encompasses a wide number of different plants within the species.

It typically grows in clusters of pink, white, or red with small berries growing after the flowers. Depending on the species, the leaves are shiny of various shapes and sizes.
