What is Bananba Extract? Banaba Extract is made from an evergreen tree that is native to Australia, India and East Asia. The tree is called the Crape Myrtle.

You will often see this tree used in landscape design due to its attractive appearance. It has flowers on stalks that are white, pink, purple and lavender.

The leaves from the Crape Myrtle tree are thick and waxy. In Southeast Asia and the Philippines, the leaves from the tree are common remedies for diabetes and hypoglycemia. Banaba leaf is also used to promote kidney and liver health. It is available in tea and capsule form.
