What is Pomegranate? Pomegranate is a fruit-bearing shrub or tree that is a native stretching from Iran to the Himalayas in northern India.

It was introduced by Spanish settlers in 1769 to the state of California and is now cultivated primarily in drier parts of California and in Arizona.

Since 2001 it has been gaining popularity as juice products.
