RosewoodAlso known as: Aniba roseaodora var. amazonica, bios de rose and Brazilian rosewood. Rosewood essential oil comes from Aniba rosaeaodora from the Lauraceae family, via steam distillation. Essential oil of rosewood, is steam distilled from the Brazilian evergreen tree of the same name. It has a red colored bark and yellow blossoms. The oil has a slightly sweet, pleasantly floral scent.
